Explore Our AppsBefore launching ikuTeam in 2018, our founders worked in fast-moving teams that relied on Jira and Confluence but struggled with scattered files across SharePoint and Google Drive.
Broken links, duplicates, permission issues, and constant context switching made collaboration harder than it should be.
To fix this, they created Team Files, a way to preview and edit cloud documents directly inside Jira and Confluence with full permission sync and no file duplication.
What began as an internal solution quickly grew across the Atlassian community.
Today, ikuTeam offers more than 15 secure apps built on Atlassian Forge and available in the Atlassian Marketplace.

2018
ikuTeam was founded in Porto, Portugal, and launched Team Files to help people work better together wherever work happens.
2020
We earned the Atlassian Cloud Fortified badge and reached our first 1,000 customers, showing that our solution could meet the needs of enterprise teams.
2021
We secured a seed investment from Atlassian Ventures to speed up development of modular tools like Google Sheets Editor.
2023
ikuTeam became an Atlassian Platinum Marketplace Partner, strengthening our presence in the ecosystem and building more trust with customers.

We released the Office Editor suite for Jira and Confluence, bringing native editing for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files to the Atlassian workspace.
