How do I attach a SharePoint file to a Jira issue?
Install the SharePoint Connector for Jira. In any issue, click Attach, select SharePoint, and connect to the folder you need. Then browse and link to the file. The file stays in SharePoint and appears with a live preview, without uploads or duplicates.

Will SharePoint permissions work inside Jira?
Yes. When permission sync is enabled, the app uses Microsoft Graph to apply original SharePoint access rules. Users who cannot open a file in SharePoint will not see it in Jira either.

Can I edit Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files from SharePoint inside Jira?
Yes. Click Edit to open the document in Microsoft Office Online. All changes are saved directly to SharePoint and show up in Jira in real time.
